Its that time of year, at least for me... When getting head colds, flu, chest congestion, etc is part of everyday life. We all go to work not feelig the best- but what is the best advice about working out??  I have heard, don't do it until you feel 100% and I have heard, go to the gym and fight through it/ a bad workout is better than no workout--

 So, whats the best answer??

What works for me is just listening to my body. Maybe cut the workout down to something easier on your body but if you're still struggling just give yourself an extra rest day. No need to push it hard and have that head cold become something worse. You'll be better off resting and recovering an extra day rather than being sick and ruining your training for the next couple of weeks!
